Cathedral square wedding // mobile, aL wedding photographer // shelly + John

Downtown Mobile has a ton great options for weddings & receptions. When Shelly and John found Space 301, they knew it was a great fit for them. They would be able to have the actual wedding outside, but a great space indoors for the reception. The wedding ceremony was in Cathedral Square, right in the center of downtown Mobile - and right across the road from the reception venue, and just a block from the Saenger Theatre.  - Which provided the perfect backdrop to a few sunset photographs with twinkling lights and all.

John and guys wore powder blue suits with pink pocket squares - which were completely awesome - a first for me and I loved it! The ladies were gorge in bridesmaid dresses they each were able to style their own way - and Shelly was an incredibly beautiful bride in her physique fitting lace wedding dress.

Shelly & John, I so appreciate you opening your family, friends, and lives to share with me. It was an absolutely beautiful day physically and emotionally, and I was honored to be with you.

Enjoy!

Fairhope wedding // fairhope wedding photographer // R+J magnolia springs wedding

I absolutely love Magnolia Springs! It's a quaint little town outside of Fairhope, Alabama with beautiful Oak trees, southern charm, and the perfect little chapel. Magnolia Springs is one of the few places in America where mail is delivered by boat if you live on the river. These high school sweet hearts decided to get married at the very Chapel they attend every Sunday - the historic building is absolutely beautiful - as was their whole wedding day!

Enjoy!

Orange Beach Wedding // Mobile, AL wedding photographer // Jenny + Jonnie

Sitting across the table at a local coffee house I met Jenny and Jonnie. Their laid back personalities, and joy for the other person was evident. They wanted a wedding day that was theirs. A wedding that embodied friends who were a part of their life, and family that rallied around them ... and that is just what they had.

At a private home, they were married on the lawn, overlooking the bay, with those who were a present part of their lives their to celebrate along with them.

I can't thank you enough for allowing me to photograph your wedding day and be there for something that will mark who you are from this moment on. The was you love each other, so whole heartedly, is inspiring and infectious, and absolutely beautiful.

Bragg Mitchell Mansion Wedding // Mobile, AL wedding Photographer // J+M

Jenna is the girl that is always smiling, and Micheal couldn't help but notice. After graduating from college, they returned to Mobile, Alabama to have their wedding at the Bragg Mitchell Mansion. Such a true feel of Southern grace, with romantic colors, a great band, and lots of celebrating.

The ladies got ready at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion then hoped over to Springhill Avenue Methodist Church for the ceremony. Then everyone loaded the shuttle and returned to the Bragg Mitchell for the awesome party that was known as Jenna & Michael's recpetion. Seroiusly. The location. The band. The decor. - it was such a fun night of laughing, dancing, and celebrating two people who choose each other. Enjoy!
