Family Beach Portraits

If you don't think this next family is the cutest ... we might not could be friends [kidding ... sort of! ;)] When Amber called me up and was talking about what she wanted for her family's session .. I couldn't wait to meet her [and her little family!] - And they didn't dissapoint. I loved getting to see their hearts (which is incredibly evident in how you treat family, especially little kids). They have a family that carries value & teaches genuine love for each person, and that was awesome to see. Seriously - these two are ridiulously GREAT parents, and I was honored to capture such a fun time in their family's life.

Ashley & Josh [Gulf Shores Family Portraits]

Ms. Brooklyn was an awesome assitant! At only three years old, she helped me count, guide the session, and made me laugh. At her family portrait session with her mom and dad, we headed out to a beautiful property that I LOVE to shoot at. It's gorgeous, and offers lots of room for kids to be kids without the fear of vehicles, or disturbing anything - and they love it as well.  Here is a few shots from Ashely & Josh's family portrait session out in Gulf Shores - Enoy!

Jeremy & Jami [Gulf Shores Photographer]

'Get out of my room' my brother yells, and of course I continue to stand there out of sheer spite. So he takes it upon himself to throw me out - literally. I hit the wall in the hall across from his room and dramatically fall to the floor crying that I am hurt. The truth - it didn't hurt, I was a tough one [due to my brother!] but a putting on a show to get him in trouble - that was something I was always up for. :) [not that my parents bought it - they never really bought into any of my antics]

Six years of age difference, fifteen years later, and states apart, he is one of my closest friends. I love my brother and adore my sister in law Jami. They are ridiculously cute [come on ... just take a look at them, and yes, they are that good looking in person]. I was happy to spend a few minutes snapping photographs of them while they were vacationing with us in Orange Beach. Happy Summer!

New Location for Mission 25 Hair Sudio! [Gulf Shores]

If you glance at the blog from time to time you might remember Kristie. She owns Mission 25 Hair Studio in Gulf Shores, and recently they moved locations. You can now find them in The Pinnacle across from Mikato restaurant .... and in case you might not know where or what The Pinnacle is, it's the shopping center next to Target in Gulf Shores. Also where you can find Books A Million and The Cobb Theatre. Be sure to stop in and say hello, and sneak a peek at the cute little Freshly Bold Photography display while there.

Projects Projects Projects

I have been up to a little fun here lately, getting my office up to par for the perfect place for clients to come, feel comfortable, and be surrounded by beautiful images and a great atmosphere. Also, I am a little bit of a furniture redesign junkie. Basically I love to go to antique stores and flea markets and find little gems. Usually I bring them home and give them a total update [nothing a good coat of paint and poly can't fix!].

Below is a great set of chairs I found in a little town not to far away. They were originally stained with canary yellow fabric on the seats. Well, in my head I thought they would look great in my [mostly] white office, but painted turquoise with a nice yellow chevron stripe fabric on the seat. Keeping in line with the brand of Freshly Bold - I think they turned out great! Also you can see a few photo's of some further updates, and of course my lovely new chandelier!

Not to worry I will be sure to post completed photographs as well once the room is perfect!
