Family Time [Beach Family Portraits] !!

When Rebecca & her family were planning their big family vacay to the South - they contacted me to set up an extended family session. I loved getting to meet them and hang out with them for a moment, and I must say, their color choice looks so good on the beach!!! ;) I am a huge fan of trending it up a bit - adding a little color goes a long way in giving life to the photographs. Rebecca - so happy to meet you [finally!] :) - and I hope the South came through for you ..... ha ha.

Yes, I'm repetitive. If you are planning to do a beach wedding - Fort Morgan is spectacular. Why? Because it's practically a private beach, which, if you have been to Gulf Shores or Orange Beach or Pensacola for that matter, you know having a beach to yourself is priceless [or in this case ridiculously affordable]. There are gorgeous houses right on the water to host your big day, and you don't have to sacrifice style to do it. seriously.

This is 1 of 2 parts to Jeanne & Jeffs gorgeous beach wedding in Fort Morgan. Jeanne & Jeff had the perfect day planned and all the right people present. The beautiful weather and handmade bouquet just made me swoon. Jeanne my dear, you are a knockout. I don't think I can express how grateful I am for you allowing me to be a part of your day and getting to know you and Jeff was the icing on the cake [or wishbone on the cake??? ha ha] Enjoy!

When I arrived at the beach house Jeanne & Jeff had rented for their wedding - I was so excited to meet the bride I had been communicating with over the phone and via email with for the past ten moths - in person. I walked in [I was early] - and Jeanne was still getting her hair done - but the moment I saw her accessories, I knew she was ever bit as great as I thought she was. With a gold Juicy Couture wishbone necklace, and incredible handmade bouquet - my excitement meter went up about five notches [yes - I have 'meters' for every emotion :) ]. When Jeanne arrived my first impression was that she was stunning. Her eyes, her hair, her demenor, everything about her I loved - and I knew exactly why Jeff did. Jeff & Jeanne had a wonderful beach wedding in Fort Morgan [Gulf Shores] - at a private beach house with their closest friends and family from up north and from good ole Mississippi [woot woot! where I was born and raised!]

Married! Layne & Eric - Sneak Peek

Layne & Eric tied the knot this past Saturday in Fort Morgan at a fabulous beach house. As I have said before, Fort Morgan is the BEST for beach weddings due to the privacy. No rando strangers in the background, maybe a few looking in on your ceremony from other beach houses, but no intruders.

Layne was completely stunning in her gorgeous wedding dress. The weather was perfection which allowed the groom and his guys to wear khaki suits [including jackets] with out melting.The ceremony was beautiful, full of love and laughter.
