Family Time [Beach Family Portraits] !!

When Rebecca & her family were planning their big family vacay to the South - they contacted me to set up an extended family session. I loved getting to meet them and hang out with them for a moment, and I must say, their color choice looks so good on the beach!!! ;) I am a huge fan of trending it up a bit - adding a little color goes a long way in giving life to the photographs. Rebecca - so happy to meet you [finally!] :) - and I hope the South came through for you ..... ha ha.

If you don't think this next family is the cutest ... we might not could be friends [kidding ... sort of! ;)] When Amber called me up and was talking about what she wanted for her family's session .. I couldn't wait to meet her [and her little family!] - And they didn't dissapoint. I loved getting to see their hearts (which is incredibly evident in how you treat family, especially little kids). They have a family that carries value & teaches genuine love for each person, and that was awesome to see. Seriously - these two are ridiulously GREAT parents, and I was honored to capture such a fun time in their family's life.

Remeber the uber [yes, I may or may not sometimes make up words] cool driftwood beach we shot Allison's family portraits at? Yea - super cool. Well, Allison's friend Lisa was in town with her family and called me up. We didn't head out to the driftwood beach, but we got some great photographs of her children and her sweet little grandbaby [whom I LOVE!!!] when they were here in Orange Beach/Perdido Key. Brotherly Love [Gulf Shores Photographer]

I love photographing kids who are close to the same age - because they crack me up! These two were no different. Getting together for a beach family session in Gulf Shores, we were sure to grab some some photo's of the grandparents, and of course the kids playing around. I just love the sibling affection you can feel coming from the photograph's ... it makes me smile. And yes, their eyes are that blue ... Jealous!!!

Get on the Boat! [Gulf Shores Photographer]

This was pretty much the exclamation in my head when I spotted an old, beat up sail boat [at least i think it was some type of sailing boat], so that is exactly what we did. Mindy and her family loved the idea of using the tattered instrument. With an extended family session on the books, we hit up the beach for some family photographs - and I couldn't be happier with the results! Thanks Mindy!
