Giving back is a principle my husband and I live by. When any photography sessions are booked, products are purchased, or design work ordered from Freshly Bold Photography, part of the proceeds will go to one of the following charities. We are incredibly inspired and proud of the work they have done to bring about significant and amazing changes in the lives of others.
For us and our personal values, we believe in not just talking about the things that we could change, or should change, but taking steps and moving forward being a part of the change.
Mercy29
Mercy29 is an anti-profit organization. Their heart is to deliver the poor that have no helper by sponsoring orphans and rescuing widows, as well as helping entire families suffering from systemic poverty. They also have a blog that allows for you to see some of the latest happenings in the places they are impacting ... and know, it started with one.

Iris
Iris Ministries is located in Pemba, Mozambique, Africa. What I love about their mission is they are doing. They are being the essence of their belief. After all, what is belief if you don't live it? Iris seeks to teach those in remote areas how to live fruitfully. Establishing a source of income for the families in the remote villages in Africa that otherwise have none.

Iris Ministries is a Christian organization committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," and, "Love your neighbor as yourself." It is our conviction that the Spirit of God ha
s asked us to make this love concrete in the world, incarnate in our thoughts, our bodies, our lives, and our every action. Iris Ministries exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through our particular calling to serve the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten.
In their home nation of Mozambique Iris has brough forth the building of schools, children centers, homes, and churches; extensive feeding programs; evangelism and healing; well-drilling; medical care; training programs for local and international ministers; conference hosting; and local pastoral care. In Mozambique, without exception, we are also committed to offering a home to every child they find who does not have a family. As the organizational capacity has grown they have been privileged to extend many of these activities to other nations, a growing list which currently includes Brazil, India, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya,
Madagascar, Malawi, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan, and Tanzania.
